Perfect angel we all love so much

B-day

After my water broke for the first time ever it was quite an experience. You see them in shows as a gush then they rush to the hospital. Well i knew you usually have a little time. I knew my mom would be up for the day around 430 and was hoping to make it that far so I didnt disrupt her schedule too much since she was watching aspen and caydence while i was in the hospital.  But back to my story. My water kept rushing out and dripping like inwas peeing every 90 aeconds. I wrapped a towel like a diaper around me and started packing my kids bags. I packed my other stuff. Tried to clean as much as possible. I had won a free house cleaning on fb a few weeks earlier so that helped so much with the deep cleaning. I had still planned on getting groceries the next day so that will have to wait. I talk to my mom and wake up colby. We take my kids over and head to the hospital. They said as i was checking it, its crazy night not even a full moon but people kep coming in to labor. I think i was put it the spare spare room in the corner. They never had what she needed in there.  Also i tone the anesthesiologist that my epidural on my first two children both only work on one side of my back and I felt all the pain on the other side. They seem to understand and said that maybe I had scoliosis or something but they would help me out so it worked out first and then I could tell that one side wasn't working again and I can feel tons of pain in Contractions. I cried and cried and cried until they could get me something else to make me feel better because I was in so much pain making me some kind of pain medicine that made me super loopy and I said we have one more but it will only last 10 minutes so you need to push him out within the next 10 minutes or I will hurt so bad. So the OB spread my legs so far up I think that my knees were like at my ears 3 pushes out and Barrett was out big fat baby with a cute little butt chin and he has a cute l all the things ittle birthmark on his butt just like his mom. We went back and forth about names for him because I really love the name Kodiak and Kobe didn't want anybody to shorten his name to Cody and he wanted to name him Barrett like the Barrett 50 caliber gun we both resisted but I gave in because I didn't want to hear complaining the rest of my life about his name oh the things I do for the people we love. Barrett matches his name.

A few days before my date to be induced my Dr ordered a 38 week ultrasound to see how big the baby was. well... the ultrasound said my baby was measuring way bigger at 9.3. she called me later that day and talked to me about how the ultrasound size can be off a pound or so so close to the end of the pregnancy. so he could be closer to 7 pounds or 10! she urged me to do a c section because I am small aND I really struggled with aspen when she was born bigger. I was very nervous because I didn't want the recovery with 2 kids home on christmas break. she said I had a day or so to decide. I am a firm believe in intuition. I like to wait and pray and listen to know what to do.  I didn't have a firm feeling on either way.  I asked for a blessing.  so colbys dad came over and helped Colby.  it was nice.  Colby blessed I'd know best aND the dr would know best and it would go smoothly.  it was kinda late like 10pm aND Colby went to bed.  as I've stated before I can't sleep.  I stayed up, cleaned a little, watched tv abd played on my phone . I went to lay down at 245am tired... then my water broke .  haha I got my answer! my water has never broke before.  my labor has never progressed before.  I was barely dilated for weeks.  I got my blessing answer in the most straight forward way possible ! ♡

3rd trimester

So I'm about 31 weeks right now.  I had a long 3d ultra sound last week.  They wanted to check heart patterns since the baby was so stubborn the lastfew times. He's so big.  When I first saw the screen i stated he looked chunky. But as the tech measured you it was showing your size between 33 to 31 weeks and I was 29 weeks with myou new due date! 27 if you go by my old number.  So crazy! Almost 4 lbs! And I still have almost 2 months to go. Ahhh. I've gained only 22 lbs. I don't have any real cravings but I do enjoy chomping on ice as always.  Don't worry I've had testsome. I'm not anemic.

Measuring big! Ultrasound show's his due date should be 12/8 instead of 12/21 that the dr estimated!!
